Flaxseeds are warm in nature. So, one should not eat these during summer season as it can effect metabolism. Always consume them in ground form to take maximum benefits from them. Grind raw flaxseeds to change them into ground form or buy these seeds in powder form. It will be better if you store powder in dark airtight container and keep them in refrigerator.

Take 1 tablespoon of flaxseed powder and eat it with glass of water or milk. Sprinkle one table spoon of ground flaxseeds in cereal, smoothies, yogurt etc. Search recepies on internet.

Another way to eat flax-seeds is to soak them in water for whole night and eat them in the morning. Doing this will remove the side effects of raw seeds and your stomach will easily digest them.

Points to remember

  • Never eat them in raw form because it will become difficult to digest and also it can leads to constipation and other stomach issues.
  • Never consume more than 2 tablespoon of flaxseeds in a day.
  • Drink plenty of water as these seeds can cause constipation.
