Exercises to boost hair grow and stop hair fall
While jogging every part of our body needs more blood and oxygen to work efficiently. To fulfill this need our heart and lungs start working accordingly. This extra work by these two organs increase the circulation of blood and oxygen. Hair follicles also get benefit from this. Increment in blood circulation will supply more nutrients and oxygen to hair follicles which will result in healthy and strong hair.
Sirsasana (Head Stand)
In this pose we put our whole body on head and arms while feet are in the air. This pose will make more blood flow towards scalp. This yoga pose is one of the best exercise to stop hair fall and boost hair growth. Beginners can take help of someone or practice against wall. One should remember person suffering back pain should not do this. Besides hair fall it is also helpful in other hair issues.
Uttanasana (Standing Forward Bend)
To perform this pose join your legs and inhale. After that start exhaling while bending forward. Your legs should be straight and try to toch your feet with hands. This exercise is very effective in hair fall as blood will flow heavely towards your head. Not only for scalp but it is also beneficiary for digestive system as it massage internal organs like liver and kidneys.
Adhomukha Savasna (Downward Facing Dog Pose)
Sit down on your knees and bend forward to make pose like dog. Now slowly lift your waist and straight your legs to make V shape. Remain in this shape for some minute as it will make blood flow towards your scalp. This pose will help to keep your hair strong, shiny and dandruff free. This pose is also beneficial for shoulders as it make them strong and make back bone flexible.
Sarvangasana (Shoulder stand)
Lie down straight on your back. After that raise your legs and back up in straight manner with the help of your forearms. The final form should look like a perpendicular. This form works wonder on your thyroid gland and help it to work normal. Doing this pose on regular basis will surely improve hair health.
Setubhandhasana (Bridge Pose)
This pose is easy to do and also quiet effective for hair problems. Lie down on your back. Bend your knees and lift back with your legs. Keep your arms straight and try to touch your feet. Remain in this position for some minutes for some time. You can also place pillow below your back for some support. This will increase blood circulation towards scalp and moisturize it.
One of the major reason for hair fall is stress. Stress disturb the working of hair follicles and hair growth come to rest. To overcome stress meditation is best way. Meditation calms the brain nerves which is necessary for hair follicles to work effectively. Sit in meditate position and concentrate in your breathing rather than worldly stuff. Remain in this position for as long as you can. Daily practicing can do wonders on your hair as well on your overall health.
This is the acupressure technique to improve circulation towards scalp. Balayam is easiest exercise for hair. To do this sit down and bring fingers of both hands close to each other so that similar nails of both hands touch each other. Rub the lower part of nails to with similar finger of other hand except the thumb. The thumbs should face upward. Keep rubbing nails for 5 to 10 minutes. You can feel your head heavy after doing balayam due to increase in blood circulation. You can see changes in hair health after 2 months. It could take 5 to 10 months to regrow hair depend upon person to person.
