Fuller’s Earth (Multani Mitti)

Fuller’s Earth contains healthy minerals like silica iron oxide and has inclination to absorb impurities. Take 2 tablespoon of fuller’s earth add little amount of water or milk to make a paste. Change the quantity according to hair density. Apply this paste on your scalp and leave it for 20 to 30 minutes. Rinse it off with cold water. This will remove excessive oil from scalp and soothes it.

Natural Remedies of Dry Hair

Apple Cider Vinegar

The acetic acid in apple cider vinegar will neutral the ph level of your scalp and control the excess production of sebum which leads to greasy scalp. Take 1 table spoon of apple cider vinegar and mix it with a cup of water. You can change the quantity according to your hair density and length. Gently rub it on scalp with fingers. Let this mixture work on your scalp for 30 minutes then wash it off. Use this twice in a week.


This dairy product contains all essential nutrients required for good scalp health. Yogurt hair mask restores natural ph of your scalp and nourishes hair from root. Take yogurt according to your hair density and length and stir it well. Gently massage your scalp with yogurt and leave it for 20 to 30 minutes. It will remove dead skin cells and excess oil from scalp. Yogurt can be used for all kinds of hair issue like dry hair, dandruff, split ends. It’s a natural conditioner, highly hydrating as well and makes your scalp healthy.

Tea Tree Oil

The tree tea oil obtained by cold pressed techniques are highly beneficial for hair. It’s antibacterial and anti-fungal property soothes the scalp and help sebaceous gland to work properly. It will make your hair strong from the roots. To use this oil you can add it’s 5-6 drops max to apple cider vinegar or in the other hair mask. Make sure that do’t apply this oil directly on skin.

Indian Gooseberry (Amla) and Aloevera Juice

Aloevera and Indian Gooseberry are best for skin and hair. These two can do miracle to hair both of them are great source of vitamins and amino acids. There anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antioxidant properties help to maintain overall scalp health. Drink 15 to 20 ml of both Aloevera and Indian Gooseberry juice daily. These juices will nourish your skin internally resulting in shine on hair and glow on face.

Aloevera Gel

Either you consume it or apply it on scalp aloevera will give you benefits only. You can buy gel from market but make sure that it does not contain any preservatives or make one at home. To make gel at home peel aloevera leaf, cut it from middle throughout the leaf and  extract gel from it. Apply this to your scalp leave it for 15 minutes after that rinse of your hair with cold water. Do this twice in a week

Egg Yolk

You may have tried different recepies of egg. Have you ever used it as hair mask? Yes, you can use its yolk as hair mask. Egg Yolk contains Amino Acids, Vitamin D which promotes healthy scalp and hair growth. It will condition scalp, replenish protein and balance scalp sebum. Take egg yolk according to your hair density and length. Mix some drops of Rosemary essential oil to counter egg yolk odour. Apply this on the scalp and work in it along the tip of the hair. Leave it for half an hour then wash it off with some mild shampoo. Do this twice in a week to get results.
